O’kviri began as a small idea for my mum. With your support, it grew into a business she loves.
It all started around the family table.
While I was on maternity leave, I decided to start a little side business for my mum. She was working as a cleaner, and I wanted her to earn a little extra doing something that made her happy.
We made our first O’kviri, shared them online and hoped they would find their people. Then your orders started coming in. Little by little, what was meant to be a side business became so much more.
You changed our story.
Thanks to you, Mum was able to leave her cleaning job and focus on O’kviri until retirement. Every order you place is part of that change.
Children and a workshop full of figures.
My sons Jan and Vito, along with Dora’s and Anamarija’s children, grew up with O’kviri. We made frames, then took breastfeeding breaks. Between playing, boxes of figures and everyday life, our little business grew too. It was wonderful chaos.

Over the years, Dora, Kristina and Anamarija, my brother Tomi and Leo, my boys’ dad, have helped us make frames. Iva, Željka and Marina helped too, and my dad also stepped in. Everyone has left their mark on our story.
